Toru is operated by Liam Patterson, a sole trader in the United Kingdom trading as "Toru", and is the data controller for everything below. Contact for anything in this policy: admin@toru.pro.
We collect the minimum needed to run the service: your account, the alerts you create, a way to reach you, and a short alert history. We do not sell your data, run advertising, or use any third-party analytics or tracking SDK, and we never hold payment details.
Links to eBay in your alerts may carry an affiliate tag, so eBay may pay us a commission if you buy through one. The tag identifies Toru, not you, it costs you nothing extra, and it never changes which alerts you get or the order they arrive in.
When a listing is too vague to match confidently, Toru sends the photo and title to Google's Gemini API to help identify the card. We pay for these requests, so Google does not use them to train its models.
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or delete your account at any time. Full policy, including who we share data with and your rights under UK data protection law: admin@toru.pro.
